Dusse Cognac | D’Ussé is a brand of cognac made in Cognac, France. It’s a subsidiary of Bacardi.  D’Ussé was founded by Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter in 2012.  The brand’s flagship cognac is the XO, which is aged for at least six years.  D’Ussé also produces the VSOP, which is aged for at least four and a half years.

D’Ussé is made from a blend of Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, and Colombard grapes. It’s aged in the finest barrels, which results in a smooth, rich flavor.

D’Ussé is produced using the Charentaise method, which involves slow double-distillation in copper stills. The lees (spent yeast cells) are kept in the wine to add additional depth and character to the eau-de-vie

D’Ussé has a distinctively strong start and a beautifully smooth and balanced finish. It has a powerful bouquet, rich in woody notes that are layered with touches of cinnamon and floral notes. The palate has hints of spices, almond, and cinnamon, with subtle hints of honey and dried fruits in the finale.

The symbol on the bottle is the Cross of Lorraine, a French emblem that symbolizes courage, honor, and perseverance.
