Moon-Seed | I got the idea to construct some fun, quirky, new earrings out of waste wood from a previous project one late night in the winter of 2016. As it happens, that small thought had a big influence on me because Moon-Seed was created soon after.
The seed that was sown that evening—those earrings that blossomed into this amazing adventure and enterprise—is reflected in Moon-Seed. Making art for your ears is the main goal of Moon-Seed. I use geometric shapes, circular forms, classic art movements, Caribbean vibes, and vibrant patterns to create bright and exciting statement earrings.
My choice of media also serves as a source of inspiration. I use a wide variety of materials, including resin, acrylic, and wood. Our compositions are lively, and I’m proud of it. They are sculptural, elegant, entertaining, and very distinctive. They appeal to a broad spectrum of tastes and are adaptable.
In my home studio in Charleston, South Carolina, I design and create each item from beginning to end. Because these goods are handmade, each pair will be slightly different in terms of color and pattern, making them all very individual.
