Hannah Diop grew up with an earth-friendly ethos but found that most haircare products for textured hair were full of harsh chemicals that didn’t actually work. In 2012, she decided to create a better solution. After years of intensive research, ingredient evaluations, and countless formula drafts, Sienna Naturals was born. Eight years later, Hannah’s biggest fan and toughest product tester, her sister-in-law Issa Rae, officially joined as co-founder.

Dermatologist Tested + Approved Sienna Naturals is the first-ever dermatologist-tested and approved haircare line designed for textured hair. Each product undergoes clinical trials, where it is tested on more than 50 human subjects over several weeks and overseen by board-certified dermatologists and registered nurses to ensure it is non-sensitizing and non-irritating to the skin.
