Frère has undergone several changes over the years, but it has recently attracted some investors and a new partner.

Aleks Musika and Davidson Petit-Frère, a Haitian American designer and tailor, collaborated for five years on the Musika Frère custom men’s suit line. After that brand shut down in 2019, he went it alone and started Frère, a direct-to-consumer company with a foundation in custom-tailored apparel.
