As a child, the 25-year-old would often visit the Bronx to enjoy the sights and noises because she had close family there. Growing up, the budding designer watched Sex and the City with her mother and knew she wanted to live in New York City. Eventually, her weekend visits to the city resulted in a permanent relocation.
The iconic series from the early 2000s not only served as inspiration for Ashley’s move to the fast-paced city, but it also influenced and changed her unmatched sense of style and attitude to fashion. The versatile artist, who grew up watching the renowned series and other fashion-focused shows like the CW’s Gossip Girl, enrolled in Berkeley College in Midtown Manhattan in 2017 as a fashion merchandising major.

Despite the highs and lows of her stay at Berkeley College, the brilliant designer developed the blueprint for CIRIACO. Ashley built the foundation for her asymmetrical designs and dynamic prints by creating her fashion brand’s rich textures, prints, and vibrant hues while juggling classes and shifts. She honed her own design technique over the last few years, culminating in the first CIRIACO handbag being released in 2020.
