Meet Our Founders

Malaika Jones, CEO Malaika is a recognized leader for her innovative and disruptive business approach. Named one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s “100 Most Powerful Women,” she has been featured in top publications like Forbes, WWD, and The New York Times. Prior to founding BROWN GIRL Jane, she had a long career as a Managing Director in investment banking on Wall Street. Malaika is a graduate of Spelman College and has completed an Executive Education program at Harvard Business School.

Tai Beauchamp, CBO Named one of WWD’s “50 Most Influential People in the Multicultural Market,” Tai is an award-winning producer, TV host, and brand consultant. With a career that includes being a leading editor for prestigious magazines like Harper’s Bazaar and O, The Oprah Magazine, she uses her platform to empower, educate, and entertain women.

Nia Jones, CIO Nia has dedicated her career to philanthropic management and diversity initiatives, driving change through institutional policies and capital support. A graduate of Spelman College with a Master’s degree from New York University, she resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband and three sons.
