Dr. Franklin’s journey in medicine began at Clemson University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in biological sciences. He then attended the Medical University of South Carolina for his medical degree. He completed his residency training at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) Hospitals, gaining extensive experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

To further specialize his skills, he completed a highly competitive fellowship in Interventional Spine & Musculoskeletal Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he also served as a clinical instructor.
