The SOUL CAP Story
We’re Michael and Toks, two friends who never learned to swim as kids. When we finally took the plunge as adults, we were shocked to see that the swimming world wasn’t as welcoming as it should be. It felt like a sport that wasn’t open to everyone.
Some kids don’t get the support they need. Some athletes can’t find a path to success. And thousands of swimmers can’t find the right gear for their bodies. So we decided to do something about it.
Going Against the Tide
We’re on a mission to make swimming accessible to everyone. Our journey started with SOUL CAP, an extra-large swim cap designed for swimmers with thick, curly, or voluminous hair. Its success showed us there was a real need for more inclusive swimwear.
We believe swimming is a life-saving skill that brings joy to so many, and we’re committed to changing the narrative. We’re about more than just swimwear—we’re about building confidence, breaking down social barriers, and making sure everyone feels like they belong in the water.
We’re here to champion every swimmer and learner who wants to achieve more.
