When we set out to craft Rivulet Artisan Pecan Liqueur, we began with a simple, yet ambitious, vision: to create a truly unique, world-class spirit. It was a journey fueled by our passion for pecans and a deep respect for time-honored traditions. Every step of the way was a labor of love, culminating in a luxury liqueur unlike any other.
At its heart, Rivulet is a tribute to natural ingredients, the meticulous art of small-batch distillation, and the patience of a delicately slow-aged product. We are committed to sustainability and are proud to be a Fair Trade certified product, because we believe that creating something exceptional means doing it responsibly. We are confident that after one sip, you’ll agree that every moment was worth the wait.
The journey of Rivulet begins with the finest slow-distilled brandy, which is then gently aged to perfection in small oak casks. This process results in a spirit so smooth, some say it’s like silk. We use the same time-honored methods and traditions that have been passed down through generations, ensuring every drop carries the rich legacy of master distillers.
Our passion for pecans runs deep. Did you know that 95% of the world’s pecans are grown and harvested right here in the USA? The American climate and unique terroir provide the perfect conditions for growing the finest hickory pecan trees and their nuts. We’ve developed a proprietary recipe to extract the nuanced, delicate flavor profile that makes our liqueur so special, capturing the very essence of these remarkable nuts.
Achieving the perfect balance of aged brandy, pecans, and our proprietary ingredients took years of dedication. This is why we celebrate our time-honored craftsmanship by producing Rivulet in small batches, ensuring every bottle is a testament to unequaled quality.
Much of the credit goes to our custom copper and polished brass stills, beautifully crafted by Vendome Copper & Brass Works in Louisville, Kentucky. Vendome is world-renowned for making the highest quality distillation equipment, and we believe our stills are as beautiful as the fine liqueur they help create.
The simple, artistic beauty of our dendrite sphere on the Rivulet bottle brings a sense of peacefulness and serenity. To understand its mystery, one needs only to look to the origins of our liqueur. The unique, random patterns of tree branches and roots are a type of dendrite pattern found throughout nature. These same branching forms can be seen in lightning strikes, snowflakes, the human circulatory system, and the meandering paths of small streams formed over millennia. It is a beautiful metaphor for our product, which is born from nature and carefully guided into its final form.
Rivulet offers a unique and complex flavor profile that delights the senses. On the nose and palate, you’ll discover nutty and caramel notes, a hint of orange citrus, with vanilla, cinnamon stick spice, and subtle butterscotch undertones. Its clean texture hints at maple syrup, toasted pecans, butter, and baking spice. An expressive backbone of spice notes leads the way, followed by a long, lingering finish of rich pecan.
Rivulet is part of a growing grassroots movement that strengthens relationships and trading practices to benefit farmers, workers, consumers, and the earth. We are proud to support Fair Trade Certified™ products and businesses as an integral part of our mission. This commitment allows us to create a luxurious, natural product while keeping families, local economies, and the natural environment strong and sustainable for years to come.
Rivulet Artisan Pecan Liqueur has been honored with numerous awards at prestigious competitions and events worldwide. Critics and judges have consistently given us the highest honors, and we are incredibly pleased that the industry appreciates the quality and craftsmanship that makes Rivulet so special.
We believe Rivulet is more than just a liqueur; it’s a story of passion, patience, and a deep respect for the art of distillation. We invite you to experience the difference for yourself and join us on this journey.
