Fabrice Tardieu was the man. Over the course of the last few years, his name has grown to be associated with elegance, luxury, and careful craftsmanship.
Fabrice Tardieu’s namesake business has been shattering social norms ever since it was launched in 2014 by expressing positivism and inventiveness via its products. Fabrice’s signature Graffiti series of sneakers, slip-ons, and boots all have his own life motto on the soles: “One Battle at a Time, One Day at a Time.” He did this in the hopes that it will spark vital societal conversations or promote messages about battling through adversity and remaining resilient. Fabrice’s complete shoe line is painstakingly hand-painted with an attention to detail and precise workmanship, and the designer places a strong emphasis on quality, design, and craftsmanship. Each pair is handcrafted in his Italian workshop, where some of the most well-known designers in the world have previously done their work, using materials that the designer has personally sourced.
“laid-back luxury” is how Fabrice’s handcrafted style may best be described. Fabrice is uniquely able to capture an anomaly through his designs: bold yet subtle, sophisticated yet edgy, modern yet classic, and luxury yet laid-back –appealing to a large following of fashion-conscious consumers and worn by celebrities like Will Smith, Common, Canelo Alvarez, P. Fabrice began his career in the fashion industry in Paris working for Giorgio Armani. It didn’t take him long to work his way up to the position of Head of Sales and Distribution for France and the French Caribbean. Later on, he ventured out on his own and established his own shirt company called Bogosse. Bogosse has enjoyed a great deal of success and is currently stocked at a number of upscale department shops such as Sak’s Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. In 2014, he launched Fabrice Tardieu footwear, which marked an evolution for his brand and an acceptance of his true passion.
Fabrice Tardieu was born in the Haitian city of Port-au-Prince. After completing his education in the United States, he continued his education in Paris, where he majored in international business. He has one child and lives in Miami, Florida at this point, which he is quite pleased of.
