Jensin Okunishi Studio

Jensin Okunishi is an American-born designer who creates a dialogue between color and memory. Her love of color and texture led her to the Rhode Island School of Design, where she graduated with a BFA in Textile Design. Jensen Okunishi Studio is a contemporary rug studio that celebrates colorful contemporary design and quality craftsmanship and offers an escape from the ordinary. Each rug is made to order and entirely handcrafted by our trusted artisans. Hand-knotted rugs are woven in Nepal from soft, but durable Himalayan wool, and hand-tufted rugs are woven in India using New Zealand wool.

The well-being of our artisans and their communities is important to us. Together, we show our support against child labor, forced labor, and bonded labor in global supply chains with the Good Weave organization.
